He’s got to wear that for five days.

So much for my last post about how one Vet said he might have a liver shunt. After all of my research we went and got a second opinion. The new Vet wasn’t concerned at all. He said the one reading from the blood test that was high, wasn’t high enough and another reading wasn’t high at all.

We took him in at 7am and we were told he would be ready to pick up at 3:30. When Cindy got a call around noon it was a little scary. But he came through fine and he’s home and wondering, “what the heck is this thing around my neck?” He’s still a little groggy, and he’s getting used to his new hat.

It’s a good thing for second opinions. Something didn’t sound right when the first Vet wanted to keep him for observation and more tests. All I heard was “blah, blah, give us more money, blah, blah, blah.“  That’s usually just me though. Giving out the name of the chain probably wouldn’t be a smart thing to do, but no one reads this anyway.
