We delivered in British Columbia, Canada on Tuesday morning. There was suppose to be a crew but the installer didn’t know we were coming and we had the wrong phone number for him. So the installer called the electrician and together with Wayne they unloaded the truck. I walked the mall where we were delivering at.

I usually help but it was too heavy and after I took a bad fall from the truck down to the fuel island a week ago, I am still bruised and sore. We are hoping to get a load out on Friday but nothing has come through yet. In a month we will be hanging up our trucking hats and going cruisin in the Bahama’s with my brother and his wife. So we need to keep busy until then. Helps time fly by fast and the money is always a plus. The roads in some parts were washed out due to lots of rain here. We should be heading south soon and seeing the sun again. I sure like the time change as the mornings are light again. That’s my favorite time to drive. Wayne is the evening driver and that works for him just fine as he doesn’t care for the mornings.

  1. Waaa???

I am guessing you guys are gone by now. Tell wayne to call me next time you are up here.

  2. My trucker husband “Pennypincher” made it home in time for Thanksgiving and our 7th Wedding Anniversary.
I know from experience myself as a team & solo trucker that it’s not always the case for truckers to make it home for the holidays due to many different reasons. My heart goes out to all the truckers and their family members in those situations. I give thanks to everyone that is part of this circle of life as a worker, distributer, shipper, transporter, receiver, and consumer.
