Now that it’s Friday and I’m probably not getting anymore freight to put on this half empty trailer, I have plenty of time to get to Orlando. Cindy is coming in on Tuesday night and since I can’t pull up next to the passenger pickup area in a 53′ trailer I don’t have a plan for hooking up yet.

With all the free time, I will have plenty of time to play with the new website and figure out somehow to fix our problem of not enough work. I’ve got a few ideas for both.

I’m not sure if it’s trucking, the economy or the company we’re hauling for. The company we’re leased used to be a trucking company. The driver came first, almost no matter what. Now, it’s moved into more of a brokerage, a trade show company and a warehouse with a few trucks. We have access to one of the biggest load boards on the internet and there’s nothing on there either. My choices are – sell everything and get a real job (yeah, right!). Sell everything and get a job we want but doesn’t pay, (probably not right now) or put more into the same thing that may or may not work.

  1. Our freight dried up all of a sudden to. Its gotten so bad our drop yard is a disaster because everyone is dropping and nothing is leaving!

I think its a good time for a vacation.

  2. Good to know it’s not just us. But it’s always to wait things ilke this out at home instead of trying to stretch out a two day trip into 7 days.

  3. Trucking software can help and less difficulties in your work,. The software was designed to help truckers, owners, truck operators and fleet operators for a more easier task
