Ten days ago the truck was in the Volvo shop in Vegas for a grating
noise. They tore the transmission apart and finally decided to replace
the motor mounts. It was fixed for awhile then it started back again.
We went through Vegas after picking up a load in California. Now they
say it’s the clutch. We’ll find out more on Monday. Since we are in the
middle of a load we have a deadline to be in Virginia on the 4rth.
Hopefully things will be done Monday and we can be on the road Monday
evening. This will be our first load we will have to try and team out
there and drive 2800 miles in 2 and a half days. That’s a lot of
driving. Not much stopping. If we’re late it will only be a half a day
or so. I’m not worried, it’s only a bunch (250) office chairs.
Hopefully, the truck will start behaving itself.
