Cimg1067Cimg1066This is the reason for the rental trailer. These are 116 inches tall. The standard dry van is 110 inches tall. This trailer is 120. They are loaded from the street because this place doesn’t have a dock, when we unload it’s easier to unload them from the ground because the docks have weather stripping that gets in the way of unloading. If you look inside the trailer, you might see the loading bars with blankets wrapped around them. I use these between the chambers so they are secure and don’t bump up against the bars. I haven’t been driving all that long and I’ve been doing this job even less, but it always makes me feel good when someone that’s been doing it a lot longer says I had a good idea. The bars are wrapped with a moving blanket and the ends are taped so they don’t move. I didn’t think it was a big deal, but a couple of people thought it was a good idea.

After a change in plans, we’re now off to our first winter wonderland trip to the Great White North to deliver furniture and some games for a new Chuck-E-Cheese. We deliver in Kingston, Ontario Monday and be back in Minnesota by Wednesday.
