Cimg0873Cimg0879This job can really suck sometimes. Last month we had to wait two weeks in Alaska and now we have to wait for two days on the Oregon coast. We delivered some fixtures to three Fred Meyer stores in Oregon. We did the first two, but couldn’t get to the third one in Warrenton (next to Astoria on the coast) before they stopped taking deliveries. We found a hotel and make the delivery the next day. The truck starts acting up again. We called the diesel service in town and take the truck to the shop. We are only fixing it enough to get back to Minnesota, then trading it in.

We’re trying to make the best of the situation by seeing the town. We rode the trolley and toured the USS Rushmore while it was in town for the Astoria Regatta this weekend. Here are the pictures we took today of the bridge, trolley and the Rushmore.
