We moved Cindy’s son’s family to Sauk Rapids, MN. While we were unloading, the neighbors came over and introduced themselves and the neighbor across the street had all six of us over for fried chicken after we unloaded the truck. All of the other little girls were glad to see more little girls moving in. The entire cul-de-sac is full of little girls, so the kids will have a blast. The neighborhood has block parties all the time and everyone is extremely friendly. A neighbor came over and gave them a phone list of all the other neighbors. It’s great to see them in a really nice house, yard and a neighborhood from the 50’s. A big contrast from life in Las Vegas.

While we were there I put the truck in the shop for a fuel leak also with the intention of buying a new truck. I get to the shop and everyone is really friendly and they can get right on it. Unlike most dealerships that take a week to even look at it. The next day I go and talk to a salesman and buy a new truck. I liked the service people and the salesman was a lot better than the salesman we had in Vegas. Everyone at the dealer was friendly and kind of laidback, but they knew what they were doing. The salesman explained how the dealer has won all kinds of awards for their service department.

More about the truck later, but it’s brand new, no more fleet rejects. Owner Operator spec’d with upgraded interior and options. The Nova Scotia trip got changed and now we have to get back to Minnesota to pick up the new truck. We are doing another household move from Green Bay to Saint George, UT. Picking up some freight from Cedar City, UT to Portland, then it’s hurry up and get a team load from Seattle to Austin, TX then back to Minnesota somehow. All of this in a two week time frame. Drive, drive, drive!
