So far I am not missing being “on the road” as much as I am missing Wayne and Willie. I have been working at Macy’s and reading, working on papers, and meeting with classmates for college.

My life is full but yet seems empty with them on the road. Las Vegas is cooling down so I hope I can turn the air conditioner off soon. That bill alone will take my whole paycheck. Labor Day weekend I had 3 friends come for lunch and we went out by the pool where they had Elvis impersonaters singing and they were all dressed like the late great “king”. It was fun and some of them were pretty good.
