DockThe plan was that Cindy was going to stay in Vegas while I finish this trip and unload this in LA. Then I go back to Vegas for a few days before the next trip. Since the flood and the parking lot and the dock at the new Kohl’s store is flooded and the unloading process is really slow because they have to take the new fixtures (shelves and display cases and such) up the freight elevator to the second floor. This takes forever. There are trucks spending the night in the parking lot that were here this morning. There’s a Subway and a Starbucks in a little strip mall next door, porta-johns for the construction crews in the parking lot, and (kind of) high speed internet over my new air card. What more could anyone ask for? My co-driver for one!!!
