I’m back to the same routine of getting a load, delivering, then waiting a few days for the next one. Waiting in El Paso, TX isn’t the worst place to wait for a load. I don’t have to idle or even run the generator except for a few hours early in morning.

I took Willie out for a long walk in the desert and let him loose. You would think he would wear himself out after awhile, but I think he stores his energy and runs until he’s completely exhausted, then runs some more. I looked for dog parks close by, but there weren’t any listed on the internet and I’m not going to go driving around.

Or I could take one of those shopping trips across the border, but I can’t think of anything I would get and I wouldn’t leave Willie alone for several hours.

It takes some motivation to work on something productive like taxes. But we have started getting all the numbers and paperwork together.  So, I’m on the internet trying to come up with something to write about trucking, but it’s not only slow for freight, it’s been pretty slow for trucking news too.
