Fl2mnmapWe’re in Pennsylvania where we dropped off some watermelon from deep in the Everglades. On the way north we saw several groups of motorcycles pass on their way back from a rally. Even some Hell’s Angels! But no Panthers. The watermelons paid us by the pound of how much the truck could carry. Since we have moving blankets and ramps, we couldn’t carry as much as everyone else. We still did good, but I wish it had been more.

We had the choice of taking household back to Florida, then try and get more melons north. Or go to Rhode Island, pick up some sailboats and go to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. There’s a lot of waiting time picking up and delivering household and there can be a lot of wait time picking up and delivering produce too. This time we were lucky to get out with the melons in six hours. We may not be so lucky next time.

We chose the sailboats to Canada trip. That will make seven Canadian Provinces I’ve been to. And all 48 of course. I would really like to make it 49. I’ve been to all 50 one way or another, but would really like to drive to Alaska, but that’s another story.
