During our vacation we went to the Grand Canyon. We stayed two nights in Williams, AZ and rode the train to the Grand Canyon for the day. I didn’t think much about the ride up to the canyon, but it was cloudy and raining. When we got to the canyon the clouds were down in the canyon and we couldn’t see to the other side. We couldn’t see much at all. We ate at the El Tovar hotel restaurant and walked around the shops while it was snowing. A half hour before the train left to go back to Williams the clouds lifted and we got a pretty good view of the canyon. On the way back from the canyon the train was robbed. Cindy almost had the opal ring I bought her at the canyon pulled from her finger. We had a pretty good time even with the snow and cold. It cleared up enough the next day that we drove to the canyon so we could see it in good weather. We got a few pictures even with the bad weather.
