Yes indeed, about 20 minutes after I wrote my last entry the call came and we were headed for the Everglades. I was hoping to see some Alligators but didn’t. Lots of heat, humidity and swamps by the side of the road. We loaded in the dark with a ton of watermelons. We are heading for Denver, PA and will be unloaded around 6 am Monday. This load is very heavy so when I start out in the morning the truck acts like it is really working hard and jumps a bit when switching gears. Only a little over 500 miles to do today and all in beautiful weather and country. I am now drinking my coffee waiting for Wayne to hop aboard and we are off.
