After Houston, we took our trade show stuff to Chicago. Waited, had a load cancel, moved some audio equipment from a rap concert to a small warehouse. Had another load cancel. As we were heading for a truck stop to spend the rest of the weekend and who knows how long, we got a call to pick up a load in Iowa 200 miles away, going to Salt Lake City.

We will be loading in the morning on Tuesday going to Henderson and hopefully there will be room for some bonus freight. We sure could use some. Then, we’re not sure what is going to happen, there might be some major changes coming real soon.

Willie still has his moments of anxiety when we leave the truck. Cindy actually had him doing sit and stay in the passenger seat while I left and he even stayed till I got back. But unless Cindy stays right in his face, he wants to get down and start barking. It’s the same story when we both leave, but we’ll keep trying.
