On the Colorado and Utah border, the town of Fruita, CO has a rest area / welcome center and a Vietnam memorial on the other side of the parking lot. This is the Western Slope Vietnam Memorial. The names of the soldiers from Colorado that died in Vietnam are etched in a marble wall that circles around the stand that is holding the helicopter. Click here for a few more photos of the memorial.
