Fruita, CO by wayne

On the Colorado and Utah border, the town of Fruita, CO has a rest area / welcome center and a Vietnam memorial on the other side of the parking lot. This is the Western Slope Vietnam Memorial. The names of the soldiers from Colorado that died in Vietnam are etched in a marble wall that circles around the stand that is holding the helicopter. Wayne and Willie come home, finally!!

What seemed like a very long time to me finally came to an end, Thursday evening. Wayne and Willie are home and it's great to have them with me again. I will have homework to read and papers due in class not to mention I work M-F.
