Two years ago I was working for Graebel and we bobtailed from Vegas to Saint Louis to pick up a trailer to take back to Vegas. We were able to park next to the Arch for their 4rth celebration complete with airshow.
Last year we were in Alaska where it stayed daylight till midnight, so fireworks were very limited, but we were having a blast!
This year we’re driving from LA to Connecticut with rehearsal equipment for Earth, Wind & Fire. Driving through Ohio, we stopped early and parked facing a cornfield. As it got dark the fireflies filled the sky. Then, off in the distance we could see two different firework displays going off at the same time. One of the displays kept going and going and going. We kept waiting for the finale, but were so tired we gave up and went to bed. We had the best seat in the house! Sitting in our bed with the windows open and a cool breeze, fireworks in the distance, fireflies close by and the best part was we were together.
