We were suppose to be loaded and ready to go Monday or Tuesday but it has now been pushed to Thursday. We are currently staying at the Best Western on Lake Lucille. It has a balcony overlooking the lake and lots of beautiful flowers leading down to the dock area. They have a very popular restaurant here as it is very busy during lunch and dinner with people sitting inside and outside overlooking the lake. We went for a long walk tonight but ended up jogging back as the mosquito’s were very hungry as we went deeper in the woods on the dirt road by the lake. It was sure a wonderful visit but I think we are both ready to get back to the lower 48.

I have had so much fun reading your posts about Alaska and looking at all the pretty pictures. What a breathtaking trip you have had! I’m so glad you were able to travel there. Perhaps you can arrange anothter trip down to Florida so we can see eachother again! Miss you & travel safe,

I was once delayed in Alaska after the tour bus died. Finally after many nights at bars caught the boat down the Inside Passage. Spectacular. You’re right about the mossies though. Even worse in the Yukon.
I couldn’t imagine that happening to me. Personally I think it would be something beyond what I could bear…. all that cold and stuff.
