In the beginning of the month we had a load to Biloxi, Mississippi to deliver furniture to a casino still trying to reopen after Katrina. Wayne and I couldn’t believe the damage we saw and took pictures to share with all of you here.

Lots of businesses and homes still abandoned or a trailer sitting next to what was before Katrina. We were there trying to find a load out when I decided to fly to Minnesota and visit with my grandchildren who where out of school for the summer. Wayne met me there later and we put the truck into the Volvo shop for it’s annual physical. After a tearful goodbye, we went to California and now we’re back in New York. We took pictures in North Dakota of the Badlands with the sunset in the background and also a Buffalo that was grazing in the rest area. I wanted to get a picture with me next to him but Wayne talked me out of it.
