The perfect title for this would be “Back on the Road Again”, but I’m pretty sure we’ve used that before. We are back to work. After our large computer customer “rescheduled” their trip, we took the first decent trip that came up. Cindy is at her brother’s house to visit with nieces, grand nieces and grand nephews. I’m delivering the rest of our loads in Orlando and Tampa. This trip was decent paying, but thanks to my packing both half truckloads we picked up in LA we still had room for some extra ($$$) tradeshow freight also bound for Florida. I actually “supervised” the first load and I did hand pack the next load.

Our “Cannonball Run” has been canceled too! That was the tradeshow that paid an outrageous amount of money for 24 truck teams to drive from Orlando to San Diego in 48 hours has scaled back and only has normal (non-rushed) freight coming out of this show now. Oh well. Watching the weather, it seems that Florida is the place to hang out for a few days!
