Cimg0980Was the title for the Airshow at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. We got there early and stood in line for an hour for a short bus ride to the base. This airshow is HUGE! I’m sure I was the only one at the airshow taking pictures of trucks. But this was pretty cool. The big screen on a trailer. The screen would show the planes (of course) and would switch to pictures inside the cockpit of the various performers. They also had a Predator flying above the show being controlled from 50 miles away taking pictures of the airshow they would put up on the big screen once in a while. You cannot see or hear those things unless they are low to the ground. We had a good time, I’d put more pictures up, but it was tough to get good pictures of jets with the camera I have.

The main theme of the airshow was to give a proper welcome home to the Vietnam Vets. They had a little USO type stage and Ann Margaret was there and read a little very heartfelt speech about her feelings and her shows in Vietnam. We were very close to the backstage and Cindy was able to shake her hand and told her she loved her work. Here’s a few more of the pictures from that day. Or check out the video feeds of the acts.
