As we adventure to the East (Maryland and New Jersey) we find snow, sleet and ice. So what were we looking for in the middle of winter you say? My reply would be April. We still see lots of beauty in the winter its just not as much fun driving. I am in my 5th month on the road with Wayne and experiencing lots of growing pains with this tough lifestyle. We have been taking off one week every month but is that realistic? Maybe it is but I thought we would work all year and take a month off in the winter and one in the summer. After being in the truck and driving for a week I am ready for a couple days off. I need to regroup my thoughts and stop worrying about when the next time will be for us to get out of the truck and be home. I did great in the beginning but after the Holidays and now in the middle of winter I am struggling. We will be heading for Chicago soon and Minnesota is not far away. Maybe a visit to see my mom will be the answer. Her health problems have been
increasing and the doctors are doing tests to see what’s going on. I know one thing for sure, I am so glad January is done.

1Hi Wayne and Cindy, I think you’ve got a great arrangement and lifestyle and I’m really envious. One day I would like to do the same with my girlfriend when her children leave home. Just wondering - do you blog from the truck and if so, how are you doing it…?

2Hey Wayne & Cindy. I came across your blog, and I think what you guys are doing is awsome. My wife and I would love to do that some day when our kids are all grown up. For now, I’ll keep an eye on your blog, and live vicariously through your experiences. You guys have a wonderful adventure.
