I had been working for a major insurance carrier for 15 years before making the BIG decision to move my life into a new direction. Of course downsizing and closing our office made the move alot easier. No really, I was ready for a change in both my personal and professional life. I was married for 25 years and have two children that are grown, married and parents too! I was happily single, dating and for the first time in my life partying.
Since I married at 16 and had two babies at 19, it was my turn to kick
up my heels and go out every Friday and Saturday nite expecially since
I moved to Las Vegas after my divorce in 1998. Lots to do here and lots
of new friends at work and dates to join in. Then in August ’03, I saw
a picture of Wayne on a dating service and sent him an email. We
exchanged phone numbers and one week later meet at the Rio in Las Vegas
for lunch. Of course being careful I brought my whole family including
my 4 year old granddaughter who managed to ask him the most questions.
All went well and as you know by now, Wayne did ask for another date.
So as things progressed so did my curiousity of Wayne’s profession. I
went on the road a few times and fell in love with him and his
adventures in traveling. We shared not only beautiful scenery but a
bond that I never even imagined possible. That is why I choose trucking
and now have my CDL and of course my team partner.
So fun to hear that you and Wayne also have your own blog and to be able to keep in touch with you in this way. I will definitely be a regular visitor!
Love,
Amy
Cindy and Wayne,
Very much enjoy the blog. It is well written and interesting. If you have time please contact me at my e mail. We are thinking of changing our lives big time.I am eligible to retire in Jan. and have always wanted to drive the big rigs.Paula is fairly burned out from a high stress job. I have many questions but will wait to hear from you.
Hi Cindy,
This is your cousin from Oregon, Kristy! I just went to dinner with my dad and he told me about your website, so I had to check it out!! Awesome!! Your wedding looked beautiful, as do you! It has been such a long time since I have seen you, but you are still as beautiful as ever. I would love to email back and forth and see how things are going for you and your family. My dad and I are actually kind of boring, we don’t do too much that is exciting, or at least I don’t. However, my kids and my ex-husband and I are leaving for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 10 days and I am really excited about that. I would love to share some pictures with you! I hope you get this and email me back!!!
Love, Kristen Courtway (Kunerth) XXOO
